We are all part of a vast human web: each of us playing a role in each other’s lives. As the Dogon Midwife Bamadio said, “Your success is our success.” And now my daughter helps to support fifty-three girls primary and secondary education in her village, protecting them from forced marriage and female genital mutilation, through our success and yours. One day, these girls will grow up and affect change that will become the success of everyone.
